Scars & Stories
Scars & Stories is the title of The Fray’s third
studio album, we all know that. Here, in this post, I’m telling you the meaning
behind this title. What scars? What stories? According to Isaac Slade, the
title came from a song he wrote that didn’t make the album. The song talks
about the five love relationships he has had in his life. He said that: “all
had good things and bad ones, but they all made me have the marriage I have
today”. And also, he has said in some interviews, talking about scars, that: “scars
are sexy and kind of a map of what we’ve been through”. So, what he wants to
say with all this, I think, is that: we all have scars and that make us be the
person we are.
